Arxova is infrastructure, not a data broker. Users own their health data. Arxova never sells health data and never uses commercial wearable data for research or shares it with third parties. Any research is opt-in, run by external institutions under their IRB-approved consent, and Arxova does not pay participants. Clinics and research institutions pay Arxova for the matching infrastructure. The user decides where it goes: a provider, a researcher, or no one. Sharing is explicit, permissioned, and revocable. Mission: the **democratization of personal health data** — making personal health information accessible, understandable, portable, and directed by the individual it describes. ## Key facts - What it is: personal health data platform (aggregation, consent, encryption, secure transfer). - Who owns the data: the user. The user decides who can see their records. Sharing, clinic access and research all require the user's action, and the user can revoke them. Arxova holds the encryption keys for most records so features like ARIA and scores can work; records encrypted with the user's wallet key require that key or an authorized decryption path. All databases are encrypted at rest; source documents, ARIA conversations and raw device data are additionally encrypted individually (AES-256-GCM). Arweave copies are encrypted, permanent, and become unreadable once account deletion destroys the keys. Arxova does not sell data. - Technology: encryption in transit and at rest, permanent encrypted storage, and key access and consent events recorded as tamper-evident receipts on-chain (health values are never written on-chain). When a clinic uses Arxova's provider console, Arxova acts as the clinic's business associate under a Business Associate Agreement. HealthKey Labs, LLC (Arxova) has a SOC 2 Type 1 report for the Security criteria, as of August 31, 2026, issued by Percilchofe CPA LLC on September 23, 2026. It is Type 1, not Type 2; Arxova is currently working toward a SOC 2 Type 2 examination, which is not yet completed. An independent penetration test is underway and not yet completed.
